23 July’10 Mumbai: Now Ishqiya buzz reaches to Australia. The film is selected to be screened at The Melbourne International Film Festival at Melbourne Event on 1st August’10. Ketan Maru, Co – Producer, Ishqiya will be attending the festival.

Michelle Carey, Head of Programming, said “we’re thrilled to present the film ISHQIYA at our Festival this year, as part of our spotlight on India, ‘Not Quite Bollywood’. The film impresses with its energy and humour and we think it will play beautifully to the Melbourne audience”.

The Festival enjoys annual admissions of more than 190,000, making it one of Melbourne’s significant public events.
