Collection g adds glamour and glitz to Pantaloons Femina Miss India pageant for third consecutive year

Unveils exquisite crowns for the winners

Mumbai,24th March 2010: Gold is glamorous, gold is for the winners! Having been successfully associated for three consecutive years with India’s most stylish beauty and talent pageant – Pantaloons Femina Miss India, World Gold Council along with Gitanjali today unveiled the exquisitely crafted Collection g crowns specially designed for the young beautiful contestants aspiring for the prestigious title. The glittering crowns and tiaras were launched under World Gold Council’s own brand, Collection g one of the contemporary gold jewellery brands of India. This year, makes the event even more special and unique as World Gold Council has partnered with the National Institute of Design (NID) for the designing of the crowns.

Bringing out the essence of the brand, Collection g brings in 3 crowns – Femina Miss India World, Femina Miss India Earth and Femina Miss India International along with 21 tiaras for the sub-contest titles. These are specially designed for the girls who portray characteristics as unique as gold- a shining and a versatile personality. The exclusive crowns specially designed for this year’s winners are a visual delight… incorporating the effortless blend of the textures, jaali work, fusion and interplay of gold in all its glory. These crowns reflect the aura of royalty which is not inherited but earned and won due to personal efforts, confidence and poise that signifies an achiever.  It is a crown for the modern day beauty queen.
